Chaitanya Bishnoi
Founder and Principal Consultant
Chaitanya Bishnoi is an entrepreneur, consultant and professional cricketer with experience spanning India, England and the United States. He founded Vaayu Global LLC in 2025 to advise businesses, project sponsors and professional advisers on opportunities involving growth, market entry, strategic partnerships, transactions, operations and cross-border execution.
Through Vaayu Global, Chaitanya leads both client origination and engagement delivery. His work includes evaluating business opportunities, defining project scopes, conducting market and commercial research, preparing strategic recommendations, supporting commercial discussions and coordinating implementation with management teams and specialist advisers.
His consulting experience includes cross-border hospitality and real-estate projects, investment and acquisition reviews, technology-market entry, public-sector engagement, logistics operations, artificial intelligence, travel technology and professional-services strategy.
Chaitanya has also advised technology ventures on public-sector market entry and institutional growth in India. This work has included supporting four state-level memoranda of understanding covering approximately 10,000 participants, facilitating additional institutional and commercial partnerships, and developing relationships with senior government, education and policy stakeholders.
As an equity-based strategic partner to a Delaware-incorporated software business, he led elements of the company’s India expansion, secured an institutional pilot, supported early commercial revenue and contributed to cross-border go-to-market strategy and institutional positioning.
Chaitanya is also a director of a family-owned hospitality holding company with a five-star luxury hotel asset in Gurgaon. In this capacity, he has participated in valuation reviews, buyer engagement and transaction-structuring discussions during a significant hospitality asset divestiture, working alongside legal and financial advisers.
His transaction experience also includes more than six months of buy-side acquisition and deal reviews. This has involved evaluating businesses, reviewing commercial information, assessing opportunity quality and considering the strategic and financial issues relevant to a potential acquisition.
Chaitanya holds a BA in Economics with First Class Honours from Durham University. He received the Baxter Award for Academic Excellence in each of his three years at Durham, together with an annual merit scholarship. His academic work included advanced microeconomics, industrial organisation and monetary economics.
He subsequently completed graduate-level coursework in Capital Markets and Investments at Harvard Extension School, receiving an A-minus grade. The course covered equity markets, fixed income, portfolio theory and asset valuation. He has also completed a financial modelling programme through Breaking Into Wall Street.
Alongside his business career, Chaitanya has competed as a professional cricketer across India, England and the United States. He represented Haryana in Indian domestic cricket between 2015 and 2023 and served as Vice-Captain during the 2021 Vijay Hazare Trophy. He was selected by Chennai Super Kings in the 2018 Indian Premier League auction and remained with the squad for the 2019 season.
In the United States, he has represented the San Francisco Unicorns and Los Angeles Knight Riders in Major League Cricket, in addition to competing in other leading domestic competitions. In 2025, he captained the Chicago Raiders to the inaugural Mayors New World T20 League title and scored an unbeaten 86 in the final.
His experience in professional sport informs his approach to consulting and leadership: prepare thoroughly, remain composed under pressure, take responsibility for outcomes and work effectively with people from different professional and cultural backgrounds.
Chaitanya works in both English and Hindi and has professional and personal experience across several international markets.
