Sector: Hospitality, real estate and destination development
Vaayu Global conducted a comparative assessment of six Indonesian destinations for a proposed boutique hospitality development.
The decision required consideration of tourism potential as well as air and sea access, infrastructure, competitive intensity, demand evidence, land availability, title risk, development restrictions and permitting complexity.
Vaayu Global created a destination-screening framework and assessed each location against a consistent set of commercial and execution criteria. The research also examined land-acquisition routes, spatial-planning requirements, environmental considerations, forest-estate restrictions, small-island regulations and the sequence of local diligence and permitting.
The engagement produced a comparative destination matrix, individual market profiles, a source-supported research pack, a land and permitting pathway and a phased implementation plan.
